DSi education guidelines in French

We are delighted to announce that there is now an official version of the DSi education guidelines in French.

We thank Myriam Besson, from our member organisation Inclusion Down in Belgium, for translating the original English version, and all the proof-readers involved.

This work was overseen by DSi and followed their designated translation process. This DSi process needs to be followed for an officially recognised version to be published. We hope, that making the information accessible to French speaking populations around the world will enable an increasing number of learners with Down syndrome to have their right to quality, inclusive education upheld and to enable them to fulfill their potential and open up future opportunities in life.

Lignes directrices pour l'éducation de DSi en français

Nous sommes très heureux d'annoncer qu'il existe désormais une version officielle des lignes directrices pour l'éducation de DSi en français.

Nous remercions Myriam Besson, de notre organisation membre Inclusion Down en Belgique, pour la traduction de la version originale en anglais, ainsi que tous les relecteurs impliqués.

Ce travail a été supervisé par DSi et a suivi notre protocole de traduction établi. Il est nécessaire de suivre ce protocole DSi pour qu'une version officiellement reconnue puisse être publiée. Nous espérons, en donnant accès à ces informations aux populations francophones du monde entier, permettre à un nombre croissant d'apprenants porteurs de trisomie 21 dans les pays concernés de faire valoir leur droit à une éducation inclusive de qualité, de réaliser leur potentiel et de découvrir de futures opportunités dans la vie.
